Classwork:
Go for a walk to clear minds and get fresh air after testing.
Work productively on Cultural Festival Essay, including:
- Organizing your interview information by identifying categories (early life, professing life, cultural traits, a big event (war/invention/graduating/etc), family life)
- Building out your paragraphs using information you research (about a country, a war, an event) and your interview information.
- Using the essay checklist to make sure you have all the necessary components.
- Using the "Effective Leads" handout to double check your own essay "lead" or "hook."
- Looking for photographs online related to your topic and saving them onto your Google drive.
Homework:
Do any or all of the following you have not yet done.
- If you've begun writing your essay, please share it with me. (case_sar@4j.lane.edu)
- Gather up photos and images from home for your Cultural Festival poster
- Essay rough drafts due Monday (Red Day) or Tuesday (White Day)
