Classwork:
Go for a walk to clear minds and get fresh air after testing.
Work productively on Cultural Festival Essay, including:
  • Organizing your interview information by identifying categories (early life, professing life, cultural traits, a big event (war/invention/graduating/etc), family life)
  • Building out your paragraphs using information you research (about a country, a war, an event) and your interview information.
  • Using the essay checklist to make sure you have all the necessary components.
  • Using the "Effective Leads" handout to double check your own essay "lead" or "hook."
  • Looking for photographs online related to your topic and saving them onto your Google drive.

Homework:
Do any or all of the following you have not yet done.
